专利说明:
Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an inflatable support pad for bed rest prevention wherein the support pad comprises an upper and lower foil layer, the upper and lower foil layers being partially fixed to each other and forming a plurality of air chambers, wherein at least one foil layer comprises a an opening, for use in connection with a valve, and wherein the opening is in connection with at least one air chamber in said support pad. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Sleep ulcers are a frequent problem for people who are in bed for longer periods of time. Inflatable support pads are used to reduce the risk of lying down. The support pads may be, for example, multi-chamber pads in plastic as described in DK176891. The cushion, as described in DK176891, is suitable for use with the support of a single leg, arm or the like. However, the cushion is not very suitable for larger support surfaces. At the same time, the cushion has a uniform height and is therefore not applicable in situations where the height of the cushion needs to be adjusted. In connection with, for example, relieving one or more legs of a bed-lying person, it may be advantageous to the user of the pillow that the height can be adjusted continuously for blood circulation. The object of the invention It is therefore the object of the invention to provide an easily stackable support cushion to provide support at varying heights. Description of the Invention This is achieved according to the invention with an inflatable support pad of the type mentioned initially, characterized in that triangular joints are formed between the upper and lower foil layers, the triangular couplings being air void between the two foil layers. By triangle here is meant a shape that is generally triangular. The triangle may have rounded corners and the sides may be curved, for example, concave or convex, or the triangle may comprise other deformities as long as the overall impression is triangular. By including triangular couplings, the two foil layers are fixed to each other and the triangles form sides of the support air chambers. The triangles can advantageously be arranged so that each side of the triangle is adjacent to its own air chamber. The couplings are arranged so that there is air void between the two foil layers throughout the coupling. This means that, when the pad is in inflated condition, the air chambers will be bounded by the sides of the triangles so that the interconnections form areas that are not inflated. These non-inflated areas cause two, or more, pillows to be stacked on top of one another, so that the air chambers will settle in the non-inflated areas. This ensures that the pillows are not slid relative to each other. The pads can therefore be stacked at a desired height, without the user being bothered by the pads moving unintentionally. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said couplings are formed by welding, either in coupling periphery or as a surface welding on the entire surface of the coupling. Hereby it is achieved that the pad can be made by welding two adjacent sheets together, either by welding the periphery of the couplings, or by surface welding the entire coupling. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said couplings are formed by gluing, either in coupling periphery or as a surface gluing on the entire surface of the coupling. Some types of material are not suitable for welding together, so it may be advantageous to glue the upper and lower foil layers together. Other types of interconnection, such as sewing, can also be used to interconnect the foil layers. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said triangular interconnections are designed as an equilateral triangle. An equilateral triangle is a preferred embodiment of the coupling, the couplings thus being easy to manufacture. Further, equilateral triangles can easily be arranged in a pattern so that the air chambers become uniform. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that a majority of the air chambers are generally hexagonal. The triangles can be arranged on the support cushion so that the air chambers form a hexagon, each side of the hexagon being formed by its own triangle. In this way it is achieved that the air chambers in the inflated state will have a flat top. This means that the user of the support cushion rests primarily on these flat peaks, and thus does not feel to the same extent on a support cushion. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that the hexagonal air chambers are connected to each other via connections in the corners of the air chambers. By connecting the hexagonal air chambers to each other in the corners of the air chambers, a unique pattern is achieved, while at the same time allowing air to tighten between the various air chambers. This flow of air causes even small passive movements of the user of the cushion to change the pressure on the user and thereby prevent bed sores while providing the user with a high level of comfort. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that the upper and / or the lower foil layer is made of either plastic, metal or recyclable biomaterial. Depending on where the pillow is to be used it may be advantageous to use different materials. Plastic is inexpensive and easy to process, and can be used. are mixed with or made from recyclable biomaterial, so that the support pad represents only a minimal environmental impact. A metal foil may be useful in that the foil may have heat-transporting properties, or be more durable than plastic, which may be preferable. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that the upper and / or lower foil layers are made of several layers of foil. The upper and lower foil layers may further be made of several layers of foil, either to obtain better abrasion resistance or to obtain the properties of several different types of foil. According to a further embodiment, the invention is characterized in that the upper and / or lower foil layer is laminated, or otherwise surface treated. The foil layers may also be laminated or otherwise surface treated to be sweat repellent, sweat absorbent, or have other properties. The upper and lower foil layers may further be different either to be able to use the same pad for different purposes, or to have an upper and a lower side with different properties. Tegningsbeskrivetse The invention will then be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which fig. 1 is a top view of a support pad with triangular connections; FIG. 2 is a side view of a support cushion; FIG. 3 is a sectional view of two support pads stacked on top of one another; FIG. 4 shows a section of two support pads locked relative to each other. In the description of the figures, identical or similar elements will be denoted by the same reference numerals in the various figures. Thus, no explanation of all details will be given in connection with each figure / embodiment. Detailed description of the invention Figure 1 shows the support cushion 1 as viewed from above and in the non-inflated condition. The support pad comprises a series of triangular interconnections 2. Six interconnections 2 form a hexagonal air chamber 3. The hexagonal air chambers 3 are connected to each other in the corners 4. Figure 2 shows a cross-sectional view of a support cushion 1 in inflated condition. Here it is seen how the couplings 2 form spaces between the air chambers 3. It is also seen how the top / bottom 5 of the air chambers are flat. Figure 3 shows a section of two support pads 1 stacked on top of one another. The figure shows how the pads 1 are relative to each other when the tops / bottoms 5 of the air chambers are on top of each other. When the pillows 1 are thus situated, they can move relative to each other. This does not matter, however, as the air chambers 3 will of course search against the void 6 formed by interconnections 2, and thus can no longer proceed, this is shown in Figure 4. Figure 4 shows two support pads 1 where the air chambers 3 are locked 7 relative to each other. Hereby, the two pads 1 cannot move relative to each other.
